Hanna Otway has been part of the bodybuilding world since 2019, bringing grit, perspective, and a genuine love for the sport to every season she steps into.
Competing in the IFBB/NPC, Hanna’s journey has included some defining moments, including the last Arnold Amateur held in Australia. Across every prep, she has continued to return to the stage with the same competitive fire and deep respect for what bodybuilding demands.
For Hanna, competing is about far more than the final look. It’s about earning the result. She values the discipline, the process, and the satisfaction that comes from building something real over time. To her, there are no shortcuts to a better physique, only consistency, hard work, and the willingness to see a prep through when others stop short.
What drives Hanna most is her love for the stage and everything that comes with it. The tan, the bikini, the carb-up, the posing, the individuality of the sport, and the challenge of going head to head while still staying focused on being better than you were before. That balance of personal growth and competition is what keeps her connected to bodybuilding year after year.
Outside of the physical side of prep, Hanna also brings a grounded mindset to the sport. She believes perspective matters, especially in the hard moments, and encourages first-time competitors to remember that even the struggle is part of something they chose to pursue. Her approach is strong, self-aware, and honest, which is exactly why she resonates with so many women in the Comp Culture community.
As a Comp Culture ambassador, Hanna represents more than stage presence. She represents resilience, passion, and the mindset that makes someone worth watching both on and off the stage.
